I enjoyed it immensely and can't wait for more. The story is filled with suspense and action, and the unexpected twists kept me on the edge of my seat. At times, my emotions were so mixed up that I felt like screaming, crying, or throwing my Kindle at the wall, but eventually, I reconsidered.

The world only expands and shows more of Nemain’s power and introduces more of the chosen family. It is so interesting to see how each character brings a new side of Nemain and the overall story!

Book 2 starts off a few months after the end of Book 1 and has enough recap to jump you right back in.
What I loved:

still one of the coolest FMCs I’ve ever encountered. She is so hardcore but then would do anything for those she cares about
✨ Such good humor and banter (sexual and platonic)
✨ a quest & new worlds
✨ new interesting and powerful characters along with a bigger role for some of the lovable side characters from book 1
✨ plot twists
✨ laugh-out-loud moments
I can’t wait to get to book 3, excited to see how the author tackles the POV change!
