I absolutely loved this audiobook! The BANTER! The storyline all of it was so much fun from start to finish. Narration was great and I really enjoyed the story's pacing.
I have been waiting on pins and needles for Rynn's story... and oh my, this book did not disappoint. Between the world building, character arcs and relationships, and the spicy, A Den of Howls & Discontent hit all the right notes. The way that Rynn's character is written, it just hits all the feels. There is the deep vulnerability and sorrow, yet she has this overwhelming compassion for others and somehow finds the strength the challenge the destiny in front of to her.
I knew that the audio version of this book was going to great - the plot and characters were already amazing. But... I wasn't prepared. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster - I went from wanting to scream, reaching for a tissue, to needing a fan. I love that Eva Caine returned and Stephan Godleski is just an amazing addition. They were able to bring to life these character, the way they were add to portray the depth of emotion and not to mention the chemistry was an auditory delight. Chef's kiss.
This fast-paced 4th installment in the Lunaria Realms spicy why choose romantasy series has some epic banter to go along forced proximity, rivals/enemies to lovers, feisty and clever FMC, unhinged, possessive and secretive love interests, another level world building, shifters and found family as only Alex Frost can write. Buckle up and check your triggers because you are set for one wild ride.
Alex Frost continues to completely knock it out of the park and can literally do no wrong. I absolutely love the way this author writes, the way they compose emotions, action and romance to both set your world on fire and then soothe away the burn with her dialogue and banter. This installment of the Lunaria Realms series is no different.
An excellent shifter, why-choose! Full of magical creatures, numerous packs, various shifters, and a scenario where you don't know who you can trust, but you can still have fun!
This audiobook is done in a duet style and it worked so well, the narrators did a fabulous job!
I bought A House of Fangs and Deceit out of curiosity and was immediately sucked in. I love that the plot is substantial and not just a vessel to get to the spicy bits. When it did get spicy it was amazing. There was a plot twist in A Court of Bones and Sorrow that punched me in the face. Also events in A Throne of Blood and Vengeance that made me cry and I had to take a break. I'm currently on A Den of Howls and Discontent and it's giving me all the feels. I love the series so much and I can't wait for more!
